A 2 x 5.5 inch card, die-cut with a knob hole at the top. We hang things on doors for a living, so our card hangs on doors too. The demo is in your hand.
Front · hangs on the knob
Back · pitch and contact
2 x 5.5 in, vertical, with 1/8 in rounded corners. Tall and slim: it fits a shirt pocket and a card wallet, but reads as an object, not a business card.
1.2 in knob hole with a 3/8 in slot running to the top edge (keyhole cut), so it slips over standard knobs and lever handles without tearing. The cut is the whole concept: the card demos the service.
17 pt uncoated cover. Matte, writable, and stiff enough to hang flat in a breeze. Skip gloss: glare kills the doorstep read in Arizona sun. Upgrade option: 18 pt soft-touch for keep-worthiness.
UPrinting and 4over both run fully custom die-cut shapes at this size. GotPrint's mini door hanger die is the closest stock template if you want to skip a custom die charge. MOO does not offer die-cut hangers.
Roughly $120 to $190 per 500 and $150 to $240 per 1,000 for a custom die-cut on 16 to 17 pt, full color both sides. Using a printer's stock mini-hanger die trims 20 to 30 percent off that.
The QR tile shown on the back is placeholder art. Generate a real code pointing at doorfront.bysda.com before print, keep it at 0.6 in or larger, and test a scan on the printed proof.
