Print Spec

Trim size: 3.5 x 2 in, landscape, standard rectangle. No die-cuts, no rounded corners required.
Stock and finish: 14pt or 16pt bright white, matte or uncoated. Avoid gloss: the grid reads best flat, and uncoated takes handwriting.
Printer note: Single-sided run, front only, back blank. This is the cheapest configuration at GotPrint, Vistaprint basic, and UPrinting, and several budget printers only offer one-sided anyway. Upload front art only.
Rough cost: About $10 to $18 per 500 and $14 to $28 per 1,000 for single-sided 14pt matte, before shipping. GotPrint usually lands at the low end.
Bleed and live area: Build with 0.125 in bleed on all sides (3.75 x 2.25 in with bleed). Keep all live copy at least 0.125 in inside trim. The white ground makes bleed forgiving, but the grid lines must not touch trim.
